About these tools

This is the tools half of Only Trusted Finds. The main site publishes explainers: verified answers to questions people actually search for. This subdomain does jobs instead. Compress an image, check what data a photo is carrying, merge a PDF.

Why they are built this way

Every tool here runs entirely in your browser. When a tool has no server to send your file to, two things follow. Your file stays private, because it never leaves your device. And the tool can be free with no limits, because running it costs the same for one visitor or a million: nothing. Most "free" tools cannot say either of those things.

Who runs this

Only Trusted Finds is run by Santosh Chandra, a BCA graduate who also writes and verifies the explainers on the main site. The same standard applies on both halves: every tool is tested on real files before it is listed here, and if a tool cannot do a job honestly in a browser, it does not ship. The longer story is on the main About page.

What is coming

Next up: the Photo Privacy Checker, which shows the location and device data hidden inside a photo and strips it, and PDF Merge & Split. Questions or a tool you wish existed: contact@onlytrustedfinds.com.
