PDF Merge & Split
Combine several PDFs into one file, or pull pages out of a PDF. No sign-up, no page limits, and nothing is uploaded: the work happens on your device.

PDF files only. For merging, add two or more and set the order with the arrows.
Mode
Merging copies pages in list order. Splitting works on one PDF at a time: adding a file replaces the previous one.

How it works
Your browser does the work
When you add a PDF, an open-source library (pdf-lib, MIT licensed, stored on this site) loads and reads the file on your device. Merging copies each page into a new document; splitting copies the pages you picked into a new file. Pages are copied as they are, never re-rendered, so nothing loses quality. There is no server involved at any step.
Guide
When to merge, when to split
- Applications and portals: merge the form, ID and certificates into one PDF, in the order the portal lists them.
- Sharing one part: split out just the pages someone needs (one chapter, one invoice) instead of sending the whole document.
- Scanned documents: scans merge fine, but the file stays large, because each page is a picture. Compress pictures before scanning when size matters.
- Password-protected files: this tool cannot open them. Open the file with its password in your browser, Print → Save as PDF, and use that copy.
Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Merging and splitting happen in your browser, on your device. There is no server receiving your documents, which you can verify by loading this page, going offline, and merging anyway.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No artificial limit. The only ceiling is your device's memory, so very large files or thousands of pages can be slow on an older phone, but ordinary documents of any realistic size are fine.
Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied from the original files exactly as they are. Text, images and links are not re-encoded or compressed, so the merged file looks identical to the originals. One exception: fillable form fields belong to the whole document rather than to single pages, so they do not carry across a merge.
Can it open a password-protected PDF?
No. A protected PDF cannot be read without its password. To use one here, open it in your browser with the password, then use Print and Save as PDF to make an unprotected copy, and add that copy instead.
