1 · Your PDF and your stamps

Drop a PDF here, or click to choose

One PDF at a time. Adding another file replaces it and clears the stamps placed on it.

Add a stamp

No stamps yet. Make a signature, then tap it in this list or drag it on the page.

2 · Place your stamps

Drop a PDF here, or tap to choose.
Your pages appear here. Drag stamps to move them; drag the corner to size them.

3 · Sign and save

This places an image of your signature on the PDF: an electronic signature, not a certificate (digital) signature. Fine for everyday forms and agreements; for documents that legally need a DSC, Aadhaar eSign or a certified signature, use a licensed provider.

Off by default. If you tick it, the signature image is stored only in this browser, never uploaded. On a shared phone, anyone using this browser could reuse it.

How it works

Your browser does the work

When you add a PDF, two open-source libraries stored on this site (pdf.js and pdf-lib, both openly licensed) read it on your device. Your signature is drawn, typed or cleaned from a photo into a transparent image, placed on the page, and written into a new copy of the file by pdf-lib. The original pages are copied as they are, never re-rendered, so nothing loses quality. Before the download is offered, the finished file is opened again and the signed pages are shown to you above, rendered from the actual output. If you tick "Keep my signature on this device", the signature image is kept in this browser's local storage only; nothing about it is sent anywhere, and the Delete link removes it.

Questions

Is this a digital (certificate) signature?

No. This tool places an image of your signature on the PDF. That is an electronic signature: fine for everyday forms, letters and agreements where a signed copy is accepted. It is not a certificate (digital) signature: it carries no cryptographic proof of who signed or whether the file changed afterwards. For documents that legally require a certified signature, in India anything needing a DSC or Aadhaar eSign, and excluded documents like wills and property sale contracts, use a licensed provider.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. Signing happens in your browser, on your device. There is no server receiving your documents, which you can verify by loading this page, going offline, and signing a PDF anyway.

What if my PDF is already digitally signed?

This tool checks for an existing digital signature and warns you before you save. Saving a signed copy rebuilds the file, which would invalidate the digital signature already on it, so you can cancel instead of destroying it by accident.

Can it open a password-protected PDF?

No. A protected PDF cannot be read without its password, and this tool has no way to ask for one. To sign a protected file, open it in your browser with the password, then use Print and Save as PDF to make an unprotected copy, and sign that copy instead.
